Independent Audit Revalidates PrimeRevenue Commitment to Security
Third-party SAS 70 Type II Audit recertification demonstrates trustworthiness of PrimeRevenue systems and solutions.
ATLANTA, GA – November 13, 2007 – PrimeRevenue, Inc., the leading global provider of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solutions, announced the successful completion of a SAS 70 Type II audit of its payment processing services for the third year in a row.
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standard (SAS) No. 70 defines the standards used by a service auditor to assess the internal controls of a service organization and issue a service auditor’s report. PrimeRevenue’s SAS 70 Type II audit report assists clients with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. The SAS 70 Type II audit reviewed client setup, transaction processing and payment processing activities. Following the review, an independent auditing firm concluded that internal controls and security procedures are executed with proper oversight, according to the standard.
“Annual SAS 70 Type II certification is an ongoing priority for PrimeRevenue as a method of demonstrating confidence in PrimeRevenue’s technology, practices and processes. Annual SAS 70 certification provides our customers and partners with regular assurance that the proper controls are in place, and information flows within the PrimeRevenue environment are trustworthy and secure.” said Bill MacPhail, CIO of PrimeRevenue.
“We’re proud of this achievement and expect that it will reinforce the trust our customers and partners have placed in our underlying solutions and services” said Joe Juliano, CEO of PrimeRevenue.
